            Welcome, guys! I’m not sure about you guys but it has been stressful these last several weeks. Dealing with school, work, and spending time with loved ones, I have been so busy. But I am so grateful for the life that I have. Since things have been getting so crazy in my life, I have been setting time aside for self-care. 

 

            In my definition, self-care is when you set aside some time to do something nice for yourself. I must do this for myself because I get overwhelmed and sometimes I feel like I am letting myself go. So I like to set some time aside to help myself relax and unwind. I try and do self-care at the beginning of every week and sometimes in the middle. There are self-care things to do everyday. Here are a few of my favorite self-care things:

 

-       Drink water every day!

-       Shower and wash your hair (I love doing hair masks at least once a week)

-       Do your skincare (I love facemasks)

-       Go for a walk

-       Read your Bible/Devotional 

-       Declutter/clean your room or space 

-       Listen to music 

-       Go shopping (I love retail therapy)

-       Read a book (I love to read everyday, especially before going to bed)

-       Spend time with loved ones

-       Watch a movie 

-       Bake

-       Do your nails or go get them done 

-    Take a hot bath (this is my absolute favorite) 

 



 Go do something nice for yourself!
